My advantage is…3d Spatial Skills
You will be able to find something that you are good at. For example, mine is building things. Yours might be writing or helping develop the cure to cancer because our brains are literally wired differently we think in completely different ways that normal people think. We can use this to think differently and be creative where others can’t because they’re too linear in their thinking. If you’re having a hard time in school because of dyslexia, push through and fight for all the accommodations you can get because it is worth it.

Dyslexia is never a reflection of intelligence or effort, it’s just a difference in how the brain processes language. Differences make life and people unique and interesting! Never underestimate yourself, dream big, work hard, keep a positive attitude, and NEVER give up!!

Sometimes, my brain feels like jazz—structured improvisation. And like any good band or team, it works best when every person is respected, and every strength is heard.
When you recognize those dyslexic strengths in someone don’t be afraid to connect. Discussions between dyslexic people are very engaging and usually entertaining….
